Welcome, Mesa View Mustangs!

Welcome to a new school year at Mesa View! The faculty and staff are very excited to have our hallways filled with enthusiastic students ready to learn and take advantage of all that Mesa View offers. A new school year brings new classes, new faces, and new opportunities.
The staff at Mesa View is committed to providing students with an excellent academic and nurturing environment. STEM, standing for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, is an academic focus at Mesa View. Every student will be part of our STEM program and have STEM experiences at our school. A number of our STEM rotations are designed to provide students with an insight into YHS Pathways and careers in STEM.
At Mesa View, we will continue to focus on "PIKing The Mustang Way," which means we have Perseverance, Integrity, and Kindness in everything we do.

Incoming Transfer

Incoming Inter-District transfers must first be approved by the student's district of residence prior to submitting the request to YCJUSD.  Please submit the approved application (obtained at the student's district of residence) to the YCJUSD District Office receptionist. Please allow a sufficient amount of time for this process to occur.

For students applying for enrollment into any of Yucaipa High School’s Linked Learning Academies, applications must be received in the YCJUSD Educational Services office no later than April 7, 2023 at 4:00 pm.

Applicable timelines for processing a request, including the following statements:

a. For an interdistrict transfer request received by the district 15 or fewer calendar days before the commencement of instruction in the school year for which the transfer is sought, the district will notify the parent/guardian of its final decision within 30 calendar days from the date the request was received.

b. For an interdistrict transfer request received by the district more than 15 days before commencement of instruction in the school year for which the interdistrict transfer is sought, the district will notify the parent/guardian of its final decision as soon as possible, but no later than 14 calendar days after the commencement of instruction in the school year for which transfer is sought.

It is preferred that a current copy of your student's discipline history and attendance be submitted along with the application to expedite the process.  Individual inter-district attendance permits may be denied or revoked due to unsatisfactory citizenship, or poor attendance. Applications will be reviewed and accepted based on space availability per the California Education Code.  There is no guarantee of enrollment to a specific school site, only to the District if the application is accepted.
